Do mice head indoors when it gets cold and begind to snow?

We are new to Utah and are going through our first snow filled winter. I recently saw a mouse in our house and wonder if the snow and cold weather drives them indoors?Do mice head indoors when it gets cold and begind to snow?
Yes, mice will head into your home if there is a way in. Look around outside (probably should have done this in the fall) see where there are any openings they could get in, and plug them up! They can fit into some very small spots! Steel wool in a hole will deter them from getting through. Our cats do a nice job of finding mice in the fields around us. I think those they haven't caught, have spread the word to others to keep away! ;) Welcome to Utah !!
i think so.i never had them in my house til the cold settled in.then i started hearing them at night in my finished basement with a drop ceiling, running aroud.im getting them though.one snap at a time.Do mice head indoors when it gets cold and begind to snow?
no, mice stay outside and like to freeze to death.
Well like most other creatures, mice also try to avoid unbearably cold weather by heading towards shelter.Usually mice seek protection indoors or it could just be in a warm burrow deep under ground.Do mice head indoors when it gets cold and begind to snow?
yes they do......every winter I get a few mice trying to come in my house....unfortunately for them I have three cats that man the door they try to use to come in.
if they can get inside they will--other than that they live under the snow nothing but insulation for them
