What are some dry, Low Humidity, areas of the country for relocation?

I guess I need desert. I was considering Arizona, but not anymore. I therefore need a similar option as far as climate is concern. Humidity but not cold weather aggravates my arthritis and related eye conditions. I prefer large town or small cities. Please be specific if you live in a state such as Utah, where some areas are snowy and others are desert. I don't know the difference in which parts are what, that's why I'm asking. Thanks. What are some dry, Low Humidity, areas of the country for relocation?
What's wrong with Arizona? It's just what you're looking for. You're not dumb enough to fall for all that stupid "boycott" crap, are you? If you looking for low humidity, very arid areas it's either Arizona, or Nevada. There are no large towns in the California part of the desert. Utah gets cold and snowy in the Winter. If I could afford to move, Arizona would be one of my top choices.
Why aren't you considering Arizona anymore? We have everything you're looking for. Your loss if you don't look here. Also - you've posted this on the Phoenix forum so you obviously expected Arizona residents to respond. What are some dry, Low Humidity, areas of the country for relocation?
Palm Springs would be right up your alley. Other nearby places would be Indio, Rancho Mirage, and Cathedral City. They are in the California desert and are just as hot and dry as Phoenix, only the taxes are higher and California has the most screwy government officials I have ever encountered.
You are making a fundamental meteorological error when you assume that all areas of low humidity have to be on low altitude ,hot and dry deserts.

The entire Great Basin area from the leeward side of the Sierra to the crest of the Rockies is an area of of low humidity.

Don't overlook the effects that altitude can have on humidity

It's entirely possible to be living at 5500 ' in the High Desert and to experience really cold winters along with the occasional blizzard...that contains really dry snow

Here's a demographic w/ climate data for Grand Junction CO

If you want desert but not Arizona, try Las Vegas Nevada, Palm Springs, Indio, Apple valley California, or Albuquerque New Mexico.
The Phoenix area would be ideal for you most of the year, but for a few weeks between July and August it rains tremendously and the humidity greatly increases. I don't believe that Las Vegas has anything that.
