Moving to ST George Utah or Tucson AZ?

I have a job opportunity wherby i can relocate to Tucon Arizona or ST George Utah, I have looked online but have never actually been to either, which is better to live in terms of family, weather, nature beauty, entertainment etc? I am married with 2 toddlers, and their quality of education does mean a lot to me.Moving to ST George Utah or Tucson AZ?
If it was me I would move to Tucson.... a beautiful city and nice weather most of the time.... car won't rust out either.Moving to ST George Utah or Tucson AZ?
Hello,

I have been to Tucson and it was a great climate. I currently live in St. George and here is what I love about it: the weather is hot! It can get way into the 100's in the summer. Very close to Vegas so you can get away if you want to. There are so many outside activities that you can do as a family hiking, biking, boating and fishing on lakes, camping, and most you can do year round. The views are amazing. During the winter snowy mountains can be accessed in an hour drive. The real estate is growing really fast and it is becoming a bigger city. Here is what I hate about St. George: if you are not a part of the religious culture then you and your family will be known as the "non-mormons" and treated that way. Even though they will deny it if confronted. Utah is known for their dollars per child ratio, and they are the lowest. Either way, Good Luck to you!!Moving to ST George Utah or Tucson AZ?
Not an expert but having traveled through both places a few times, Tuscon is a desert environment, a large border city with a large mex-american culture. St. George is a much smaller city with a more temperate climate with a white middle-class feeling. It's 1/2 way between Las Vegas and the great recreation areas of the mountains stretching north to Salt Lake. Quality of life, raising a family, I'd vote for St. George. Business opportunities, faster living Tuscon is probably better. But I could be wrong...
St George Ut is fairly crime free, traffic is getting a bit worse, but it still has a decent 'small town' feel to it. The outdoors is great but as far as 'entertainment' I would say it is a bit lacking. There are decent schools depending on the area you move into, there are a few private schools that are affordable, housing is a bit overpriced right now but there are still deals to be had. Weather is hot (up to 116 in summer but dry) and the rainfall usually comes in about a dozen good storms a year. Winters are mild and there have been winters where I have seen it get below freezing only a handful of times right in town.
