I have the opportunity to go on a camping/hiking trip in Utah in the second half of November. I was thinking maybe Arches, Canyonlands, or maybe Bryce Canyon. What is the weather like? Will the trails be reasonably passable? Will the roads be icey and treacherous, and will snow be a problem?
Being a Minnesotan, with a good sleeping bag, I dont mind some cold...Hiking in Utah in late November?
It will be chilly, Bryce will be less snowy as it is in the desert part of the state, but it will still be cold. I think Arches is closed most of the winter.
It is beautiful there - I would definately look into it some more, but you shouldn't put it in the Denver section - Denver is in Colorado. Put it in a Utah section if you can.
