How is the weather in salt lake city ?Any idea about life in Salt lake City, Utah ?
I just moved to Layton UT which is only about 15 min outside of SLC, from Ca and let me tell you....I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!!! I don't know where you live now but my best advice is to come and visit for at least a week if possible. This is NOT what I thought it would be. Good luckAny idea about life in Salt lake City, Utah ?
Layton and Salt Lake City is a big difference. I have moved from Las Vegas and like it now. It takes the time to adjust, but there are great restaurants, Sundance, obviously skiing, home prices are reasonable,

Any idea about life in Salt lake City, Utah ?Yea, its beautiful there. I live close to there. Its big, lots of ppl, lots of different races. Very religious place, full of mormons. Nice place tho, lots to offer, but wouldnt reccommend the school system. There are gang problems.
Its gonna get COLD in the winter. Lots of snow, lots of skiing tho!
The summers are very hot and humid.
It is in a valley surrounded by high mountains. Therefore the winters have snow (it WAS the home of the winter Olympics). The summers are hot and dry. To give you an example, it got into the low 100s this past July but it was no worse than GA in the 90s with humidity. Depending on where you are moving from, it could be fairly normal for you (ie, the north, the midwest) or it could be a new experience (ie GA, SC, CA). The best place to look for averages is www.weather.com and type in Salt Lake City.
