I have moved several times between humid Eastern areas and the arid West, and each time I moved West, i initially had problems (chapped lips, nosebleeds) from the dryness. My body seemed to adjust after a little while each time. When making the adjustment, keep a nasal saline spray handy (such as Ocean), and carry your favorite lip balm.

Nose Bleeding and Skin Itching Problem at Utah?
Please help if anyone of you have experienced this before. Our family is thinking of relocating from Hawaii (humid weather) to Utah (dry weather), after visiting Utah for 3 days, my husband鈥檚 nose bleeds a lot and skin itches due to the dry weather, we鈥檙e worried that this might be a long term thing if we decide to move over, but some say it just takes some time to adjust since we鈥檙e from a warm humid weather state. I sure don鈥檛 want him to have bleeding nose and itchy skin all year long if we move to Utah, so was wondering if anyone of you have experienced this and did it last forever or just a while.
