What should I wear in extremely cold weather?

I was born and raised in south florida and coldest it ever got down here was 35 degrees F the past two years straight. This year, my family and I are going to visit Utah for a week. I think the temperature is going to be in the teens and I dont have anything in my closet for that type of weather.

I'm also going to go snowboarding, are there 2 different outfits for snowboarding and just to go through cold temperature?

Makes sure you cover your head, hands and feet because that is where most of your body heat is lost. Just dress in layers because you don't know what you'll need in those temps. You can always take off a jacket if you put too many layers on.What should I wear in extremely cold weather?
