If the world went into an Ice Age, how fast could we adapt? would it be too slow, before we all die?
When I was younger, I moved from the cold northern parts of Utah to the hot southern parts of Utah. It took us about 2 years to adapt to the blistering heat of summer. Now 8 years we've leaved here and we can stand any temperature.
But my question is, how fast do we adapt? and if its that slow, is there a way to increase adaption rates? How fast can the human body adapt to weather and climate change?
not feeling uncomfortable in the heat is different from adopting a completely different lifestyle, agricultural infrastructure, and and weather patterns that come with climate change (which is NOT the same as weather, weather is localized and temporary, climate is more of a global phenomenon)
our bodies won't adapt to climate change, we'll simply invent better and better humidifiers or air conditioning or heaters... our evolution is not technical, not biological.
