Do people in Utah ever get to wear shorts?

I'm going to Utah in August

and after observing Utah's weather for a while

I realized that the weather is hardly hot enough to wear shorts

It's almost always below 77 掳 F (only a few days are exception)

I wonder whether I need to bring shorts....Do people in Utah ever get to wear shorts?

It's going to be 98 degrees today and has been running near the 100's for a while now.

I've lived in Utah my entire life, and usually its over 100 degrees right now. this year has just been colder that the past. I would definitely bring shorts, because it could start to get a lot hotter, its supposed to get up to 99 this weekend. it also depends on where you are going in utah, if you are going to southern Utah bring shorts.Do people in Utah ever get to wear shorts?
YES. i live in utah. summers are hot. summer nights are pleasantly cool.
