Would you rather live in Honolulu, Hawaii or Sandy Utah?

most people might pick Hawaii, but I'm talking about living comfortably with a 85K income, therefore, please include cost of living, people, public school education, entertainment..etc..there's no doubt though the nice weather in Hawaii is a place where no one can compare to. thinking of moving away from Hawaii to Utah, what do u think?Would you rather live in Honolulu, Hawaii or Sandy Utah?
I live in Utah and it is not to bad. the transportation is great in fact we just got front runner going on Saturday which is a train that runs from Salt Lake City to Ogden. We also have Trax which is really great. In Sandy they are building a stadium for Real Salt Lake which is a professional Soccer team. The education system is good here in Utah. The people are really nice.
Dear G-d, don't pick Sandy, Utah!!!! I mean honestly, you still need to enjoy where you live, right???? Money might be tighter in Hawaii, but if those are really the only 2 choices you have, go to Hawaii!Would you rather live in Honolulu, Hawaii or Sandy Utah?
well i live in hawaii, and let me tell you it isn't great. the weather is like bipolar, and its SOOO expensive living here. There are always tourists everywhere, everything's crowded. If you would spend every day at the beach, sure it may be okay, but other than that there's nothing much good about it. there's nowhere to to and nothing to do. like they don't have sonic, target, victorias secret, aeropostale, and a lot of other big stores here. If you like the beach and don't mind everything else i said, sure come to hawaii then.
I used to live in Sandy, it's not THAT bad, the first post made it sound like fire and brimstone for pete's sake..



the school district would be the Jordan school district, it's one of the best districts in the state, the cost of living here is decent, the people are friendly, and not as overwhelmingly LDS as you'd think, but it's still the majority religion of the state, as far as entertainment, you're close to pretty much everything in Sandy, theaters, restaurants, etc..

and Utah's always amongst the safest states to raise a family in..

well, it's really up to you. If you want to live a fast paced life, live in the mainland. If you want a more laid back and all "cruising kine" of life...then stay here. :) simple as that.
