What is it like to live in Salt Lake City, Utah? Is it expensive to live out there? What type of people live?

out there? Type of nationalities and is it mostly younger people? Is it hard to find jobs, especially federal or government jobs? Is there anything fun to do around there? How much does rent go for? How is the weather? Does it snow alot and are the summers hot and humid? Are there better places to live on the west coast than Utah? What is it like to live in Salt Lake City, Utah? Salt Lake is only 40% LDS, surprisingly enough. It is very cheap. An apartment goes for about $500-$600 per month, depending on the area of the city. It isn't hard to find jobs, that I know of.

Weather is great. We get snow in the winter, and it can get warm in the summer, but spring and fall are a perfect medium.

We usually get snow from November-March, with some years starting earlier and others starting later.

Summer are not humid at all. They are pretty dry. Not parchingly dry, just an average nice temperature.

I think of the whole west coast, Utah has the nicest climates, nicest people, best schools, best cost of living, etc. What is it like to live in Salt Lake City, Utah? Is it expensive to live out there? What type of people live?
